ਅੜਿਲ:
ਸਬ ਦੇਵਨ ਅਰੁ ਕ੍ਰਿਸਨ ਦੀਨ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਜਬ ਕਹਿਓ ॥
ਜਦ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਆਜਿਜ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਕਿਹਾ,
ਹਟੋ ਜੁਧ ਤੇ ਭੂਪ ਹਮੋ ਮੁਖਿ ਤ੍ਰਿਨ ਗਹਿਓ ॥
When all the gods and Krishna said these words very humbly and taking the blades of straw in their mouths, they went away from the battlefield,
ਹੇ ਰਾਜਨ! ਅਸੀਂ ਮੂੰਹ ਵਿਚ ਘਾਹ ਦਾ ਤੀਲਾ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਾਂ (ਅਰਥਾਤ ਬਿਨਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਸ਼ਰਤ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ) ਕਿ ਯੁੱਧ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਹਟ ਜਾਓ।
ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਸੁਨਿ ਆਤੁਰ ਬੈਨ ਸੁ ਕੋਪੁ ਨਿਵਾਰਿਓ ॥
ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ (ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ) ਦੁਖ ਭਰੇ ਬੋਲ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਨੂੰ ਤਿਆਗ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
ਹੋ ਧਨੁਖ ਬਾਨ ਦਿਓ ਡਾਰਿ ਰਾਮ ਮਨੁ ਧਾਰਿਓ ॥੧੭੧੫॥
Then listening to their words of distress, the king also abandoned his anger and put his bow and arrows on the earth.1715.
ਧਨੁਸ਼ ਬਾਣ ਰਖ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਮ (ਨਾਮ) ਨੂੰ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ॥੧੭੧੫॥
