ਚੌਪਈ:
ਯਹ ਗਤਿ ਦੇਖਿ ਬੀਰ ਰਿਸ ਭਰੇ ॥
ਇਹ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਸੂਰਮੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਨਾਲ ਭਰ ਗਏ
ਲੈ ਲੈ ਹਥਿ ਹਥਿਯਾਰਨ ਪਰੇ ॥
Seeing this phenomenon, the contenders flew into the rage and, takingtheir weapons came forward.
ਅਤੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਹਥਿਆਰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆ ਪਏ।
ਯਾ ਜੁਗਿਯਹਿ ਜਮ ਲੋਕ ਪਠੈਹੈਂ ॥
(ਸੋਚਣ ਲਗੇ ਕਿ) ਇਸ ਜੋਗੀ ਨੂੰ ਯਮ-ਲੋਕ ਭੇਜੀਏ
ਐਂਚਿ ਦ੍ਰੋਪਦੀ ਨਿਜੁ ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ਕੈਹੈਂ ॥੨੧॥
‘We will send this sage-type into death knell and take away Daropdeeas the wife.’(21)
ਅਤੇ ਦ੍ਰੋਪਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਖਿਚ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਇਸਤਰੀ ਬਣਾਈਏ ॥੨੧॥
