ਕਹ ਸ︀ਯਾਨੀ ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ਗ੍ਰਿਹ ਗਯੋ ਭੇਦ ਪਛਾਨ︀ਯੋ ਨਾਹਿ ॥੮॥

And without discerning the trickery, he went away from the house.(8)(1)

(ਇਹ) ਕਹਿ ਕੇ ਕਿ ਇਸਤਰੀ ਸਿਆਣੀ ਹੈ, ਘਰੋਂ ਚਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਭੇਦ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਸਮਝਿਆ ॥੮॥
