ਚੌਪਈ:
ਰਾਨੀ ਬਾਤ ਚਿਤ ਮੈ ਰਾਖੀ ॥
ਰਾਣੀ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਚਿਤ ਵਿਚ ਰਖ ਲਈ।
ਮੁਖ ਤੇ ਕਛੂ ਨ ਤਿਹ ਠਾ ਭਾਖੀ ॥
The Rani kept this indication in her heart; she did not raise her voice.
ਉਸ ਥਾਂ ਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਗੱਲ (ਉਸ ਨੇ) ਮੂੰਹੋਂ ਨਾ ਕਹੀ।
ਏਕ ਦੋਇ ਜਬ ਮਾਸ ਬਿਤਾਯੋ ॥
ਜਦੋਂ ਇਕ ਦੋ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਬੀਤ ਗਏ
ਆਨ ਰਾਵ ਸੋ ਬਚਨ ਸੁਨਾਯੋ ॥੫॥
When a couple of months had passed, she came and told the Raja, (5)
(ਤਾਂ) ਆ ਕੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ ॥੫॥
ਸੁਨੁ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਮੈ ਸਿਵ ਪੂਜਨ ਗਈ ॥
ਹੇ ਰਾਜਨ! ਸੁਣੋ, ਮੈਂ ਸ਼ਿਵ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਪੂਜਾ ਕਰਨ ਗਈ ਸਾਂ।
ਬਾਨੀ ਮੋਹਿ ਤਹਾ ਤੈ ਭਈ ॥
‘Listen my Raja, I had gone to prey for Shiva and I was endowed with celestial utterance.
ਉਥੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ (ਆਕਾਸ਼) ਬਾਣੀ ਹੋਈ।
ਏਕ ਬਾਤ ਐਸੀ ਬਹਿ ਜੈਹੈ ॥
ਇਕ ਗੱਲ ਇਹ ਹੋਈ ਕਿ (ਇਥੇ ਆ ਕੇ) ਜੋ ਬੈਠੇਗਾ
ਸਭ ਕੋ ਭੋਗ ਕਰਤ ਦ੍ਰਿਸਟੈ ਹੈ ॥੬॥
‘It said, “Who-so-ever comes here, every body, will indulge with him in sex-play.”(6)
ਤਾਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਭੋਗ ਕਰਦੇ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਆਉਣਗੇ ॥੬॥
