ਸਵੈਯਾ:
ਛੋਰ ਕੈ ਸ︀ਯੰਦਨ ਸਸਤ੍ਰਨ ਤ︀ਯਾਗ ਕੈ ਕਾਨ੍ਰਹ ਭਜਿਯੋ ਜਨੁ ਤ੍ਰਾਸ ਬਢਾਯੋ ॥
Leaving his chariot and forsaking his weapons, Krishna fled, frightening everyone
ਰਥ ਨੂੰ ਛਡ ਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਸਤ੍ਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਿਆਗ ਕੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਭਜ ਪਿਆ, ਮਾਨੋ ਬਹੁਤ ਡਰ ਗਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ।
ਵਾਹਿ ਲਖਿਯੋ ਕਿ ਭਜਿਯੋ ਮੁਹਿ ਤੇ ਮਥੁਰਾ ਹੂ ਕੇ ਨਾਇਕ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਕਹਿ ਧਾਯੋ ॥
Kalyavana had thought that he had run away, being fearful of him, therefore he pursued Krishna, calling him
ਉਸ (ਕਾਲ ਜਮਨ) ਨੇ ਸਮਝਿਆ ਕਿ ਮੇਰੇ ਤੋਂ (ਡਰ ਕੇ) ਭਜਿਆ ਹੈ। (ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਕਹਿਣ ਲਗਾ) ਮਥੁਰਾ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਭਜ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਸੋਵਤ ਥੋ ਮੁਚਕੁੰਦ ਜਹਾ ਸੁ ਤਹਾ ਹੀ ਗਯੋ ਤਿਹ ਜਾਇ ਜਗਾਯੋ ॥
Krishna reached there where Muchukund was sleeping and
(ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ) ਜਿਥੇ ਮੁਚਕੁੰਦ ਸੁਤਾ ਪਿਆ ਸੀ, ਉਥੇ ਹੀ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਜਾ ਜਗਾਇਆ।
ਆਪੁ ਬਚਾਇ ਗਯੋ ਤਨ ਕੋ ਇਹ ਆਵਤ ਥੋ ਇਹ ਕੋ ਜਰਵਾਯੋ ॥੧੯੨੩॥
He awakened by him by kicking him and then concealed himself, in this way, Krishna saved himself, but got Kalyavana reduced to ashes.1923.
ਆਪਣੇ ਤਨ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾ ਕੇ (ਨਿਕਲ) ਗਿਆ। ਕਾਲ ਜਮਨ (ਪਿਛੇ ਪਿਛੇ) ਆਉਂਦਾ ਸੀ, ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਸੜਵਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ॥੧੯੨੩॥
