ਦੋਹਰਾ:
ਸਹਿਰ ਬੇਸਹਰ ਕੇ ਬਿਖੈ ਬਾਣਾਸੁਰ ਨਰੇਸ ॥
Bana Soor was the Raja of the city of Bushehar,
ਬੇਸਹਰ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦਾ ਬਾਣਾਸੁਰ ਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਸੀ।
ਦੇਸ ਦੇਸ ਏਸ੍ਵਰ ਝੁਕੇ ਜਨੁਕ ਦੁਤਿਯ ਅਲਿਕੇਸ ॥੧॥
And the rulers of all the other countries, revered him as Almighty, and bowed to him.(1)
ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ (ਉਸ ਅਗੇ) ਝੁਕਦੇ ਸਨ, ਇਹ ਸਮਝ ਕੇ (ਕਿ ਉਹ) ਦੂਜਾ ਕੁਬੇਰ ('ਅਲਿਕੇਸ') ਹੈ ॥੧॥
