ਸੇਵ ਕਰੀ ਇਨਹੀ ਕੀ ਭਾਵਤ ਅਉਰ ਕੀ ਸੇਵ ਸੁਹਾਤ ਨ ਜੀ ਕੋ ॥

I like to serve them and my mind is not pleased to serve others

ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਹੀ (ਮੈਨੂੰ) ਚੰਗੀ ਲਗਦੀ ਹੈ; ਹੋਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਜੀ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਗਦੀ।

ਦਾਨ ਦਯੋ ਇਨਹੀ ਕੋ ਭਲੋ ਅਰੁ ਆਨ ਕੋ ਦਾਨ ਨ ਲਾਗਤ ਨੀਕੋ ॥

The charities bestowed on them are really good and the charities given to others do not appear to be nice

ਦਾਨ ਦੇਣਾ ਵੀ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਾਨ ਦੇਣਾ ਬਿਲਕੁਲ ਚੰਗਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਗਦਾ।

ਆਗੈ ਫਲੈ ਇਨਹੀ ਕੋ ਦਯੋ ਜਗ ਮੈ ਜਸੁ ਅਉਰ ਦਯੋ ਸਭ ਫੀਕੋ ॥

The charities bestowed on them will bear fruit in future and the charities given to others in the world are unsavoury in front of donation given to them

ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਅਗੇ ਫਲੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਯਸ਼ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ; ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਸਭ ਫਿਕਾ (ਵਿਅਰਥ) ਹੈ।
