ਚੌਪਈ:
ਇਕ ਦਿਨ ਪੀਰ ਪਾਸ ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ਗਈ ॥
ਇਕ ਦਿਨ ਪੀਰ ਕੋਲ ਇਸਤਰੀ ਗਈ
ਅਧਿਕ ਦੁਖ︀ਯ ਸੌ ਰੋਵਤ ਭਈ ॥
One day the woman went to the Peer and, incessantly crying, narrate her afflictions.
ਅਤੇ ਅਧਿਕ ਦੁਖ ਕਾਰਨ ਰੋ ਪਈ।
ਤਾ ਤੇ ਮਾਗ ਲੋਗ ਇਕ ਲਯੋ ॥
One day the woman went to the Peer and, incessantly crying, narrate her afflictions.
ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਕ ਲੌਂਗ ਮੰਗ ਲਿਆ
ਨਿਜੁ ਕਹ ਗਰਭਵਤੀ ਠਹਰਯੋ ॥੩॥
She requested for one clove and declared herself to be pregnant.(3)
ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਗਰਭਵਤੀ ਦਸਿਆ ॥੩॥
ਭੋਗ ਖੁਦਾਯਨ ਭਏ ਕਮਾਯੋ ॥
ਉਸ ਨੇ ਖ਼ੁਦਾ ਦੇ ਬੰਦੇ (ਦਰਵੇਸ਼) ਨਾਲ ਭੋਗ ਕੀਤਾ
ਜੋਰਾਵਰੀ ਗਰਭ ਰਖਵਾਯੋ ॥
She copulated with the god-man and, forcefully, got herself pregnant.
ਅਤੇ ਜ਼ਬੁਰਦਸਤੀ ਗਰਭ ਧਾਰਨ ਕੀਤਾ।
ਨੌ ਮਾਸਨ ਪਾਛੇ ਸੁਤ ਭਯੋ ॥
ਨੌਂ ਮਹੀਨਿਆਂ ਬਾਦ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ।
ਸਕਲ ਮੁਰੀਦਨ ਤਾਹਿ ਉਡਯੋ ॥੪॥
After nine months when a son was born, all the disciples spread the rumour,(4)
ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਮੁਰੀਦਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਧੁਮਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ॥੪॥
