ਸਵੈਯਾ ॥

ਸਵੈਯਾ:
ਘੇਰਿ ਦਸੋ ਦਿਸ ਤੇ ਗਿਰਿ ਕਉ ਕਬਿ ਸ︀ਯਾਮ ਕਹੈ ਦਈ ਆਗਿ ਲਗਾਈ ॥
The poet Shyam says that surrounding the mountain from all the ten direction, it was set on fire
ਕਵੀ ਸ਼ਿਆਮ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਪਹਾੜ ਨੂੰ ਦਸਾਂ ਦਿਸ਼ਾਵਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਘੇਰ ਕੇ ਅੱਗ ਲਗਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ।
ਤੈਸੇ ਹੀ ਪਉਨ ਪ੍ਰਚੰਡ ਬਹਿਯੋ ਤਿਹ ਪਉਨ ਸੋ ਆਗਿ ਘਨੀ ਹਹਰਾਈ ॥
With the blowing of the powerful wind, the fire burst into flames
ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਤੇਜ਼ ਹਵਾ ਚਲ ਪਈ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਹਵਾ ਨਾਲ ਅੱਗ ਬਹੁਤ ਅਧਿਕ ਮਚ ਗਈ ਹੈ।
ਜੀਵ ਬਡੋ ਤ੍ਰਿਨ ਰੂਖ ਘਨੇ ਛਿਨ ਬੀਚ ਦਏ ਫੁਨਿ ਤਾਹਿ ਜਰਾਈ ॥
ਬਹੁਤ ਵੱਡੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਬ੍ਰਿਛ, ਜੀਵ ਅਤੇ ਘਾਹ ਛਿਣ ਭਰ ਵਿਚ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਫੂਕ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ।
ਤਉਨ ਘਰੀ ਤਿਨ ਲੋਗਨ ਪੈ ਫੁਨਿ ਹੋਤ ਭਈ ਅਤਿ ਹੀ ਦੁਖਦਾਈ ॥੧੯੩੪॥
When the straws, trees, beings etc. were all destroyed in an instant, those moments were very agonising for the yadavas.1934.
ਫਿਰ ਉਹ ਘੜੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਉਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਦੁਖਦਾਇਕ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ ॥੧੯੩੪॥
