ਚੌਪਈ:
ਤਿਨ ਕੋ ਬਾਧਿ ਲੈ ਗਏ ਤਹਾ ॥
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੰਨ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਉਥੇ ਲੈ ਗਏ
ਖਾਨ ਮੁਹਬਤਿ ਬੈਠੋ ਜਹਾ ॥
They dragged them to the place where Mohabat Khan was seated.
ਜਿਥੇ ਮੁਹੱਬਤ ਖ਼ਾਨ ਬੈਠਾ ਸੀ।
ਪਨਹਿਨ ਮਾਰਿ ਨਵਾਬ ਦਿਲਾਈ ॥
ਨਵਾਬ ਨੇ (ਉਸ ਇਸਤਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ) ਜੁਤੀਆਂ ਮਰਵਾਈਆਂ
ਤੋਬਹ ਤੋਬਹ ਕਰੈ ਖੁਦਾਈ ॥੧੨॥
Through the woman, Khan got them beaten and then they expressed their regrets.(l2)
ਅਤੇ ਮੁਲਾਣੇ ਤੋਬਾ ਤੋਬਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਗੇ ॥੧੨॥
ਪਨਹਿਨ ਕੇ ਮਾਰਤ ਮਰਿ ਗਏ ॥
ਜੁਤੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਮਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਉਹ ਮਰ ਗਏ।
ਤਬ ਵੈ ਡਾਰਿ ਨਦੀ ਮੈ ਦਏ ॥
They died through the beatings with the shoes and were thrown into the stream.
ਤਦ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਦੀ ਵਿਚ ਸੁਟਵਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
ਚੁਪ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਰਹੇ ਤੁਰਕ ਸਭ ਸੋਊ ॥
ਇਸ ਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਤੁਰਕ ਚੁਪ ਹੋ ਗਏ।
ਤਬ ਤੇ ਤੁਹਮਤਿ ਦੇਤ ਨ ਕੋਊ ॥੧੩॥
This made all the Muslims to become peaceful and no body was ever set with the blame.(13)
ਤਦ ਤੋਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੇ ਤੋਹਮਤ ਨਾ ਲਗਾਈ ॥੧੩॥
