ਛੰਦ:

ਪੀਤ ਬਸਨ ਬਨਮਾਲ ਮੋਰ ਕੋ ਮੁਕਟ ਸੁ ਧਾਰੈ ॥

‘The yellow robes, garlands of flowers around the neck and peacock- crown on the head, were exalting.

ਪੀਲੇ ਬਸਤ੍ਰ, ਬਨਮਾਲਾ, ਮੋਰ-ਮੁਕਟ ਧਾਰਨ ਕੀਤੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ।

ਮੁਖ ਮੁਰਲੀ ਅਤਿ ਫਬਤ ਹਿਯੇ ਕੌਸਤਭ ਮਨਿ ਧਾਰੈ ॥

‘With a flute on his mouth, he had the (legendry) jewel of Kaustik (auspiciously churned out of the sea) in his heart.

ਮੁਖ ਵਿਚ ਮੁਰਲੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਫਬਦੀ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਛਾਤੀ ਉਤੇ ਕੌਸਤੁਭ ਮਣੀ ਧਾਰਨ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੋਈ ਸੀ।

ਸਾਰੰਗ ਸੁਦਰਸਨ ਗਦਾ ਹਾਥ ਨੰਦਗ ਅਸਿ ਛਾਜੈ ॥

‘He had beautiful bow, elegant quoits and double-edged sword in his hands

ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਸਾਰੰਗ ਧਨੁਸ਼, ਸੁਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਚਕ੍ਰ, ਗਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਨੰਦਗ ਖੜਗ ਧਾਰਨ ਕੀਤੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ।
