ਚੌਪਈ:
ਜਬ ਹਰ ਕੇ ਉਰਿ ਤਿਨਿ ਸਰ ਮਾਰਿਓ ॥
ਜਦ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਿਵ ਦੇ ਸੀਨੇ ਵਿਚ ਬਾਣ ਮਾਰਿਆ
ਇਹ ਬਿਕ੍ਰਮ ਸਿਵ ਸੈਨ ਨਿਹਾਰਿਓ ॥
When he discharged his arrow towards the heart of Shiva and at the same time, that mighty one looked towards the army of Shiva
ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਬਹਾਦਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਿਵ ਦੀ ਸੈਨਾ ਨੇ ਵੇਖਿਆ।
ਕਾਰਤਕੇਯ ਨਿਜ ਦਲੁ ਲੈ ਧਾਇਓ ॥
(ਤਦ ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ) ਕਾਰਤਿਕੇ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਸੈਨਾ ਨਾਲ ਧਾਵਾ ਬੋਲ ਦਿੱਤਾ
ਪੁਨਿ ਗਨੇਸ ਮਨ ਕੋਪ ਬਢਾਇਓ ॥੧੫੧੫॥
Kartikeya was coming speedily alongwith his army and the ganas of Ganesh were getting extremely infuriated.1515.
ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ ਗਣੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਵੀ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਵਧ ਗਿਆ ॥੧੫੧੫॥
