ਚੌਪਈ:
ਜਬ ਪੀਅ ਤ੍ਰੀਅ ਕੀ ਓਰਿ ਨਿਹਾਰਿਓ ॥
ਜਦ ਪਤੀ (ਬਲਰਾਮ) ਨੇ ਪਤਨੀ ਵਲ ਤਕਿਆ
ਛੋਟੇ ਹਮ ਇਹ ਬਡੀ ਬਿਚਾਰਿਓ ॥
When Balram saw towards his wife and found that he himself was smaller and she was taller in size
(ਤਾਂ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ) ਵਿਚਾਰਿਆ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਛੋਟਾ (ਮਧਰਾ) ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਵੱਡੀ (ਲੰਮੀ) ਹੈ।
ਤਿਹ ਕੇ ਹਲੁ ਲੈ ਕੰਧਹਿ ਧਰਿਓ ॥
ਉਸ ਨੇ ਹਲ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਮੋਢੇ ਉਤੇ ਧਰ ਲਿਆ
ਮਨ ਭਾਵਤ ਤਾ ਕੋ ਤਨੁ ਕਰਿਓ ॥੧੯੬੬॥
Seeing this he placed his plough on her shoulder and according to his desire fashioned her body.1966.
ਅਤੇ (ਰੇਵਤੀ ਦੇ) ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਨੂੰ ਮਨ ਮਰਜ਼ੀ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ॥੧੯੬੬॥
