ਕਬਿਤੁ ॥
KABIT
ਕਬਿੱਤ:
ਬਡੇ ਸ੍ਵਾਮਿਕਾਰਜੀ ਅਟਲ ਸੂਰ ਆਹਵ ਮੈ ਸਤ੍ਰਨ ਕੇ ਸਾਮੁਹੇ ਤੇ ਪੈਗੁ ਨ ਟਰਤ ਹੈ ॥
The great warriors are engaged in fighting firmly and are not retracing their steps while confronting the enemy
ਸੁਆਮੀ ਦਾ ਕਾਰਜ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਸੂਰਮੇ ਯੁੱਧ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚ ਅਟਲ (ਖੜੋਤੇ ਹਨ) ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਤੋਂ ਇਕ ਕਦਮ ਵੀ ਪਿਛੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਟਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਬਰਛੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨ ਲੈ ਕਮਾਨ ਬਾਨ ਸਾਵਧਾਨ ਤਾਹੀ ਸਮੇ ਚਿਤ ਮੈ ਹੁਲਾਸ ਕੈ ਲਰਤ ਹੈ ॥
Taking their lances, swords, arrows etc. in their hands, they are fighting delightfully, being quite alert
ਬਰਛੀ, ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਧਨੁਸ਼ ਬਾਣ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਅਤੇ (ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ) ਸਾਵਧਾਨ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਉਸੇ ਵੇਲੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਉਤਸਾਹ ਵਧਾ ਕੇ ਯੁੱਧ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਜੂਝ ਕੈ ਪਰਤ ਭਵਸਾਗਰ ਤਰਤ ਭਾਨੁ ਮੰਡਲ ਕਉ ਭੇਦ ਪ︀ਯਾਨ ਬੈਕੁੰਠ ਕਰਤ ਹੈ ॥
They are embracing martyrdrom in order to ferry across the dreadful ocean of samsara
ਲੜ ਕੇ ਡਿਗਦੇ ਹਨ, ਭਵ-ਸਾਗਰ ਨੂੰ ਤਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਸੂਰਜਮੰਡਲ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਰ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਬੈਕੁੰਠ ਨੂੰ ਚਾਲੇ ਪਾ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਕਹੈ ਕਬਿ ਸ︀ਯਾਮ ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਅਗੇ ਕਉ ਧਸਤ ਐਸੇ ਜੈਸੇ ਨਰ ਪੈਰ ਪੈਰ ਕਾਰੀ ਪੈ ਧਰਤ ਹੈ ॥੧੮੧੬॥
And after touching the sphere of the sun, they are abiding in heave, just as the foot thrusts further in a deep place, similarly according to the poet, the warriors are advancing forward.1816.
ਕਵੀ ਸ਼ਿਆਮ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, (ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ) ਪ੍ਰਾਣ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਅਗੇ ਨੂੰ ਧਸੀ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕੋਈ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਪੌੜੀ ਉਤੇ ਪੈਰ ਧਰਦਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧੮੧੬॥
