ਭੁਜੰਗ ਪ੍ਰਯਾਤ ਛੰਦ ॥
(Now begins the description of Dashaam) BHUJANG PRAYAAT STANZA
ਭੁਜੰਗ ਪ੍ਰਯਾਤ ਛੰਦ:
ਜਬੈ ਦ੍ਵੈ ਸੁ ਕੀਨੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਦਤ ਦੇਵੰ ॥
ਜਦ ਦੱਤ ਨੇ ਦੋ ਗੁਰੂ ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰ ਲਏ,
ਸਦਾ ਏਕ ਚਿਤੰ ਕਰੈ ਨਿਤ ਸੇਵੰ ॥
When Dutt adopted two Guru and he always served them single-mindedly
ਤਦ ਇਕ ਚਿਤ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਨਿੱਤ (ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ) ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਗਾ।
ਜਟਾ ਜੂਟ ਸੀਸੰ ਸੁ ਗੰਗਾ ਤਰੰਗੰ ॥
(ਉਸ ਦੇ) ਸਿਰ ਉਤੇ ਜਟਾਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਜੂੜਾ ਹੈ, (ਉਹ ਅਸਲੋਂ) ਗੰਗਾ ਦੀਆਂ ਤਰੰਗਾਂ ਹਨ।
ਕਬੈ ਛ੍ਵੈ ਸਕਾ ਅੰਗ ਕੋ ਨ ਅਨੰਗੰ ॥੧੧੮॥
The waves of the Ganges and the matted locks were auspiciously seated on his head and the god of love could never touch his body.118.
(ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ) ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਨੂੰ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਕਾਮ ਦੇਵ ਛੋਹ ਨਾ ਸਕਿਆ ॥੧੧੮॥
ਮਹਾ ਉਜਲੀ ਅੰਗ ਬਿਭੂਤ ਸੋਹੈ ॥
ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਉਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਉਜਲੀ ਵਿਭੂਤੀ ਸ਼ੋਭਦੀ ਹੈ
ਲਖੈ ਮੋਨ ਮਾਨੀ ਮਹਾ ਮਾਨ ਮੋਹੈ ॥
There were white ashes smeared on his body and he was alluring the mind of very honoured persons
(ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ) ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਮਹਾਨ ਮੋਨੀ ਮੁਨੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਅਭਿਮਾਨ ਮੋਹਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਜਟਾ ਜੂਟ ਗੰਗਾ ਤਰੰਗੰ ਮਹਾਨੰ ॥
ਜਟਾਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਜੂੜਾ ਹੀ ਮਹਾਨ ਗੰਗਾ ਦੀਆਂ ਲਹਿਰਾਂ ਹਨ।
ਮਹਾ ਬੁਧਿ ਉਦਾਰ ਬਿਦਿਆ ਨਿਧਾਨੰ ॥੧੧੯॥
The sage appeared very great with the waves of the Ganges and matted locks he was the treasure of generous wisdom and learning.119.
ਮਹਾਨ ਬੁੱਧੀਮਾਨ, ਉਦਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆ ਦਾ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਹੈ ॥੧੧੯॥
ਭਗਉਹੇ ਲਸੈ ਬਸਤ੍ਰ ਲੰਗੋਟ ਬੰਦੰ ॥
He wore ochre-coloured clothes and also the loin-cloth
ਭਗਵੇਂ ਬਸਤ੍ਰ ਚਮਕਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਲੰਗੋਟ ਬੰਨ੍ਹਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ।
ਤਜੇ ਸਰਬ ਆਸਾ ਰਟੈ ਏਕ ਛੰਦੰ ॥
He had forsaken all the expectations and recited only one mantra
ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਆਸਾਂ ਛਡ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਹਨ, (ਕੇਵਲ) ਇਕ ਛੰਦ (ਅਰਥਾਤ 'ਗੁਰਮੰਤ੍ਰ') ਰਟਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਮਹਾ ਮੋਨ ਮਾਨੀ ਮਹਾ ਮੋਨ ਬਾਧੇ ॥
ਮਹਾਨ ਮੋਨੀ ਨੇ ਮਹਾਨ ਚੁਪ ਸਾਧੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ।
ਮਹਾ ਜੋਗ ਕਰਮੰ ਸਭੈ ਨ︀ਯਾਸ ਸਾਧੇ ॥੧੨੦॥
He was a great silence-observer and practiced of all the practices of that actions of Yoga.120.
ਮਹਾਨ ਯੋਗ ਦੇ ਕਰਮਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਪੂਰੀਆਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਹਨ ॥੧੨੦॥
ਦਯਾ ਸਿੰਧੁ ਸਰਬੰ ਸੁਭੰ ਕਰਮ ਕਰਤਾ ॥
ਦਇਆ ਦਾ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਸ਼ੁਭ ਕਰਮ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ।
ਹਰੇ ਸਰਬ ਗਰਬੰ ਮਹਾ ਤੇਜ ਧਰਤਾ ॥
He was greatly glorious as the ocean of mercy, the doer of good actions and the smasher of the pride of all
ਸਭ ਦੇ ਹੰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਮਹਾਨ ਤੇਜ ਨੂੰ ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ।
ਮਹਾ ਜੋਗ ਕੀ ਸਾਧਨਾ ਸਰਬ ਸਾਧੀ ॥
ਮਹਾਨ ਯੋਗ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਸਾਧਨਾ ਸਿੱਧ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ।
ਮਹਾ ਮੋਨ ਮਾਨੀ ਮਹਾ ਸਿਧ ਲਾਧੀ ॥੧੨੧॥
He was the practiser of all the practices of great Yoga and was a purusha of silence observation and the discoverer of the great powers.121.
ਮਹਾਨ ਮੋਨ (ਉਸ ਨੇ) ਧਾਰਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਮਹਾਨ ਸਿੱਧੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ ॥੧੨੧॥
ਉਠੈ ਪ੍ਰਾਤਿ ਸੰਧਿਆ ਕਰੈ ਨਾਨ ਜਾਵੈ ॥
ਪ੍ਰਭਾਤ ਵੇਲੇ ਉਠ ਕੇ ਇਸ਼ਨਾਨ ਲਈ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਧਿਆ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਕਰੈ ਸਾਧਨਾ ਜੋਗ ਕੀ ਜੋਗ ਭਾਵੈ ॥
He used to go for a bath in the mornings and evenings and practiced Yoga
ਯੋਗ ਦੀ ਸਾਧਨਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, (ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ) ਯੋਗ ਚੰਗਾ ਲਗਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਤ੍ਰਿਕਾਲਗ ਦਰਸੀ ਮਹਾ ਪਰਮ ਤਤੰ ॥
(ਉਹ) ਤ੍ਰਿਕਾਲ ਦਰਸ਼ੀ ਅਤੇ ਮਹਾਨ ਪਰਮ-ਤੱਤ੍ਵ ਨੂੰ (ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰ ਚੁਕਿਆ ਹੈ)।
ਸੁ ਸੰਨ੍ਰਯਾਸੁ ਦੇਵੰ ਮਹਾ ਸੁਧ ਮਤੰ ॥੧੨੨॥
He could observe the past, present and future and was divinely-incarnate saint of pure intellect amongst all the Sannyasis.122.
ਉਹ ਸੰਨਿਆਸ ਦੇਵ ਮਹਾਨ ਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਮਤ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ ॥੧੨੨॥
ਪਿਯਾਸਾ ਛੁਧਾ ਆਨ ਕੈ ਜੋ ਸੰਤਾਵੈ ॥
ਪਿਆਸ ਅਤੇ ਭੁਖ ਜੇ ਆ ਕੇ ਸਤਾਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ,
ਰਹੇ ਏਕ ਚਿਤੰ ਨ ਚਿਤੰ ਚਲਾਵੈ ॥
He did not allow his mind to become mercurial even on being afflicted by hunger and thirst
ਤਾਂ (ਉਹ) ਇਕਾਗਰ ਚਿਤ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਚਿਤ ਨੂੰ ਚਲਾਇਮਾਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਣ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਕਰੈ ਜੋਗ ਨ︀ਯਾਸੰ ਨਿਰਾਸੰ ਉਦਾਸੀ ॥
(ਉਹ) ਯੋਗ ਦੀ ਵਿਧੀ ਪਾਲਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਆਸਾ ਰਹਿਤ ਅਤੇ ਉਦਾਸ (ਨਿਰਲਿਪਤ) ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਧਰੇ ਮੇਖਲਾ ਪਰਮ ਤਤੰ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸੀ ॥੧੨੩॥
He, remaining supremely unattached, and wearing the patched cloak, practiced Yoga, for the realization of the light of the Supreme Essence.123.
(ਉਸ ਨੇ) ਪਰਮ-ਤੱਤ੍ਵ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਖਲਾ ਧਾਰਨ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ ॥੧੨੩॥
ਮਹਾ ਆਤਮ ਦਰਸੀ ਮਹਾ ਤਤ ਬੇਤਾ ॥
(ਉਹ) ਮਹਾਨ ਆਤਮ ਦਰਸ਼ੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਮਹਾਨ ਤੱਤ੍ਵ-ਵੇਤਾ ਹੈ।
ਥਿਰੰ ਆਸਣੇਕੰ ਮਹਾ ਊਰਧਰੇਤਾ ॥
He was a great self-knowing, essence-knowing, stable Yogi performing austerities in upside down posture
(ਉਹ) ਇਕੋ ਆਸਨ ਉਤੇ ਸਥਿਰ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਮਹਾਨ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਚਾਰੀ ਹੈ।
ਕਰੈ ਸਤਿ ਕਰਮੰ ਕੁਕਰਮੰ ਪ੍ਰਨਾਸੰ ॥
(ਸਦਾ) ਸਤਿ ਕਰਮ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਬੁਰੇ ਕਰਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਰਹੈ ਏਕ ਚਿਤੰ ਮੁਨੀਸੰ ਉਦਾਸੰ ॥੧੨੪॥
He was the destroyer of evil actions through good actions and was ever and unattached ascetic of stable mind.124.
(ਉਸ) ਮਹਾ ਮੁਨੀ ਦਾ ਚਿਤ ਸਥਿਰ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ (ਸਦਾ) ਉਦਾਸ (ਨਿਰਲਿਪਤ) ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧੨੪॥
ਸੁਭੰ ਸਾਸਤ੍ਰਗੰਤਾ ਕੁਕਰਮੰ ਪ੍ਰਣਾਸੀ ॥
ਸ਼ੁਭ ਸ਼ਾਸਤ੍ਰਾਂ ਤਕ (ਉਸ ਦੀ) ਪਹੁੰਚ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਕੁਕਰਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ।
ਬਸੈ ਕਾਨਨੇਸੰ ਸੁਪਾਤ੍ਰੰ ਉਦਾਸੀ ॥
He used to live in the forest, studying all Shastras, destroying evil actions as a worthy traveler on the path of detachment
(ਉਹ ਸਦਾ) ਸੰਘਣੇ ਬਨ ਵਿਚ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਦਾਸੀ ਸੁਭਾ ਦਾ ਸੁਪਾਤਰ ਹੈ (ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਹੈ)।
ਤਜ︀ਯੋ ਕਾਮ ਕਰੋਧੰ ਸਬੈ ਲੋਭ ਮੋਹੰ ॥
(ਉਸ ਨੇ) ਕਾਮ, ਕ੍ਰੋਧ, ਲੋਭ, ਮੋਹ (ਆਦਿ ਸਾਰੇ ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ) ਛਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।
ਮਹਾ ਜੋਗ ਜ੍ਵਾਲਾ ਮਹਾ ਮੋਨਿ ਸੋਹੰ ॥੧੨੫॥
He had forsaken lust, anger, greed and attachment and was a supreme silence-observer and the adopter of the fire of Yoga.125.
(ਉਹ) ਮਹਾ ਮੁਨੀ ਮਹਾਨ ਯੋਗ ਦੀ ਲਾਟ ਵਾਂਗ ਸ਼ੋਭਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧੨੫॥
ਕਰੈ ਨ︀ਯਾਸ ਏਕੰ ਅਨੇਕੰ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰੀ ॥
ਇਕ (ਯੋਗ) ਦਾ ਉਹ ਅਨੇਕ ਢੰਗਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਅਭਿਆਸ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਮਹਾ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਚਰਜੰ ਸੁ ਧਰਮਾਧਿਕਾਰੀ ॥
He was the practiser of various kinds, a great celibate and an authority on Dharma
ਉਹ ਮਹਾਨ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਚਾਰੀ ਧਰਮ ਦਾ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਹੈ।
ਮਹਾ ਤਤ ਬੇਤਾ ਸੁ ਸੰਨ︀ਯਾਸ ਜੋਗੰ ॥
He was a great knower of essence, knower of the secrets of Yoga and Sannyas and
ਉਹ ਮਹਾਨ ਤੱਤ੍ਵ-ਵੇਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਨਿਆਸ ਯੋਗ (ਵਿਚ ਪ੍ਰਬੀਨ ਹੈ)।
ਅਨਾਸੰ ਉਦਾਸੀ ਸੁ ਬਾਸੰ ਅਰੋਗੰ ॥੧੨੬॥
A detached ascetic he always remained in good health.126.
(ਉਹ) ਆਸ ਤੋਂ ਰਹਿਤ, ਸਦਾ ਉਦਾਸ ਅਤੇ ਰੋਗ ਰਹਿਤ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਵਿਚ ਵਸਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧੨੬॥
ਅਨਾਸ ਮਹਾ ਊਰਧਰੇਤਾ ਸੰਨ︀ਯਾਸੀ ॥
(ਉਹ) ਆਸਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਰਹਿਤ, ਮਹਾਨ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਚਾਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਨਿਆਸੀ ਹੈ।
ਮਹਾ ਤਤ ਬੇਤਾ ਅਨਾਸੰ ਉਦਾਸੀ ॥
He was without expectations, practiser of austerities in upside-down posture, a great knower of essence and an unattached Sannyasi
ਮਹਾਨ ਤੱਤ੍ਵ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣਨ ਵਾਲਾ, ਆਸ਼ਾ ਤੋਂ ਰਹਿਤ ਅਤੇ ਉਦਾਸੀ ਸੁਭਾ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ।
ਸਬੈ ਜੋਗ ਸਾਧੈ ਰਹੈ ਏਕ ਚਿਤੰ ॥
He practiced all kinds of Yogic postures with concentration
(ਉਸ ਨੇ) ਇਕ ਚਿੱਤ ਰਹਿ ਕੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਯੋਗਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਧਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ।
ਤਜੈ ਅਉਰ ਸਰਬੰ ਗਹ੍ਰਯੋ ਏਕ ਹਿਤੰ ॥੧੨੭॥
Forsaking all other desire, he meditated only on the one Lord.127.
ਉਸ ਨੇ ਸਭ ਨੂੰ ਛਡ ਕੇ 'ਇਕ' ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਹਿਤ ਪਾਲਿਆ ਹੈ ॥੧੨੭॥
ਤਰੇ ਤਾਪ ਧੂਮੰ ਕਰੈ ਪਾਨ ਉਚੰ ॥
ਧੂੰਏਂ ਦੇ ਸੇਕ ਵਿਚ ਉਚੇ ਪੈਰ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਖੜੋਤਾ ਹੈ।
ਝੁਲੈ ਮਧਿ ਅਗਨੰ ਤਉ ਧਿਆਨ ਮੁਚੰ ॥
While seated near the fire and smoke, he had raised his hand and while meditating, burning the fires in all the four directions, he was internally scorching it
ਅਗਨੀ ਵਿਚ ਝੁਲਦਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਧਿਆਨ ਛੁਟਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ।
ਮਹਾ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਚਰਜੰ ਮਹਾ ਧਰਮ ਧਾਰੀ ॥
ਮਹਾਨ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਚਾਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਮਹਾਨ ਧਰਮੀ ਹੈ।
ਭਏ ਦਤ ਕੇ ਰੁਦ੍ਰ ਪੂਰਣ ਵਤਾਰੀ ॥੧੨੮॥
He was the celibate adopting a great religion and also the perfect incarnation of Rudra.128.
ਦੱਤ ਰੁਦ੍ਰ ਦਾ ਪੂਰਨ ਅਵਤਾਰ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ॥੧੨੮॥
ਹਠੀ ਤਾਪਸੀ ਮੋਨ ਮੰਤ੍ਰ ਮਹਾਨੰ ॥
ਮਹਾਨ ਹਠੀ, ਤਪਸਵੀ, ਮੋਨਧਾਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਮੰਤ੍ਰਧਾਰੀ ਹੈ।
ਪਰੰ ਪੂਰਣੰ ਦਤ ਪ੍ਰਗ੍ਰਯਾ ਨਿਧਾਨੰ ॥
He was persistent silence-observer performing austerities, a great knower of mantras and the treasure of generosity
ਦੱਤ ਪੂਰਨ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਵਿਦਿਆ ਦਾ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਹੈ।
ਕਰੈ ਜੋਗ ਨ︀ਯਾਸੰ ਤਜੇ ਰਾਜ ਭੋਗੰ ॥
ਯੋਗ ਦਾ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਜ ਭੋਗ ਨੂੰ ਤਿਆਗਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਚਕੇ ਸਰਬ ਦੇਵੰ ਜਕੇ ਸਰਬ ਲੋਗੰ ॥੧੨੯॥
While abandoning the royal enjoyments, he was practising Yoga and seeing him, all the men and hods were wonder-struck.129.
ਸਾਰੇ ਦੇਵਤੇ ਅਸਚਰਜ ਵਿਚ ਪੈ ਗਏ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਗ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਹਨ ॥੧੨੯॥
ਜਕੇ ਜਛ ਗੰਧ੍ਰਬ ਬਿਦਿਆ ਨਿਧਾਨੰ ॥
ਵਿਦਿਆ ਦੇ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨੇ ਯਕਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਗੰਧਰਬ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਹੋ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
ਚਕੇ ਦੇਵਤਾ ਚੰਦ ਸੂਰੰ ਸੁਰਾਨੰ ॥
Seeing him, the Gandharvas, who were the treasure of science, and Chandra, Surya, the king of gods and other gods full of astonishment
ਦੇਵਤੇ, ਚੰਦ੍ਰਮਾ, ਸੂਰਜ ਅਤੇ ਦੈਂਤ, ਜੀਵ,
ਛਕੇ ਜੀਵ ਜੰਤ੍ਰੰ ਲਖੇ ਪਰਮ ਰੂਪੰ ॥
ਪਰਮ ਰੂਪ ਵਾਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਜੰਤ੍ਰ ਵਾਂਗ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਹੋ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
ਤਜ︀ਯੋ ਗਰਬ ਸਰਬੰ ਲਗੇ ਪਾਨ ਭੂਪੰ ॥੧੩੦॥
All the creatures were pleased to see his comely figure and all the kings, abandoning their pride, had fallen on his feet.130.
ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਹੰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਛਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਆ ਕੇ ਚਰਨੀਂ ਲਗ ਗਏ ਹਨ ॥੧੩੦॥
ਜਟੀ ਦੰਡ ਮੁੰਡੀ ਤਪੀ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਚਾਰੀ ॥
ਜਟਾਵਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ, ਦੰਡਧਾਰੀ, ਬੈਰਾਗੀ ('ਮੁੰਡੀ') ਤਪਸਵੀ, ਬ੍ਰਹਮਚਾਰੀ,
ਜਤੀ ਜੰਗਮੀ ਜਾਮਨੀ ਜੰਤ੍ਰ ਧਾਰੀ ॥
There were also there mighty warriors living on mountains and other countries
ਜਤੀ, ਜੰਗਮੀ, ਜਾਮਨੀ, ਜੰਤ੍ਰਧਾਰੀ,
ਪਰੀ ਪਾਰਬਤੀ ਪਰਮ ਦੇਸੀ ਪਛੇਲੇ ॥

ਬਲੀ ਬਾਲਖੀ ਬੰਗ ਰੂਮੀ ਰੁਹੇਲੇ ॥੧੩੧॥

ਅਤੇਵ ਅਗਨੀਹੋਤ੍ਰੀ, ਜੂਆ ਖੇਡਣ ਵਾਲੇ, ਯੱਗ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ,
ਅਧੰ ਉਰਧਰੇਤੇ ਬਰੰ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਚਾਰੀ ॥੧੩੨॥

ਜਿਤੇ ਦੇਸ ਦੇਸੰ ਹੁਤੇ ਛਤ੍ਰਧਾਰੀ ॥
ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵੀ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਛਤ੍ਰਧਾਰੀ (ਰਾਜੇ-ਮਹਾਰਾਜੇ) ਹੁੰਦੇ ਸਨ,
ਸਬੈ ਪਾਨ ਲਗੇ ਤਜ︀ਯੋ ਗਰਬ ਭਾਰੀ ॥

(ਉਹ) ਸਾਰੇ ਵੱਡਾ ਹੰਕਾਰ ਛਡ ਕੇ ਚਰਨੀਂ ਆ ਲਗੇ ਹਨ।
ਕਰੈ ਲਾਗ ਸਰਬੰ ਸੁ ਸੰਨ︀ਯਾਸ ਜੋਗੰ ॥
(ਉਹ) ਸਾਰੇ ਹੀ ਸੰਨਿਆਸ ਯੋਗ ਕਰਨ ਲਗ ਗਏ ਹਨ।
ਇਹੀ ਪੰਥ ਲਾਗੇ ਸੁਭੰ ਸਰਬ ਲੋਗੰ ॥੧੩੩॥
They all practiced Sannyas and Yoga and al of them became followers of this path.133.
ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਗ ਇਸੇ ਹੀ ਸ਼ੁਭ ਪੰਥ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜ ਗਏ ਹਨ ॥੧੩੩॥
ਸਬੇ ਦੇਸ ਦੇਸਾਨ ਤੇ ਲੋਗ ਆਏ ॥
ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਦੇਸਾਂ ਦੇਸਾਂਤਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਲੋਗ ਆਏ ਹਨ
ਕਰੰ ਦਤ ਕੇ ਆਨਿ ਮੂੰਡੰ ਮੁੰਡਾਏ ॥
The people of various countries from far and near, came and got performed the tonsure ceremony from the hands of Dutt,
ਅਤੇ ਦੱਤ ਦੇ ਹੱਥੀਂ ਸਿਰ ਮੁਨਵਾਏ ਹਨ।
ਧਰੇ ਸੀਸ ਪੈ ਪਰਮ ਜੂਟੇ ਜਟਾਨੰ ॥
ਸਿਰ ਉਤੇ ਜਟਾਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਭਾਰੇ ਜੂੜੇ ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰ ਲਏ ਹਨ।
ਕਰੈ ਲਾਗਿ ਸੰਨ︀ਯਾਸ ਜੋਗ ਅਪ੍ਰਮਾਨੰ ॥੧੩੪॥
And many people wearing matted locks on their head, practiced Yoga and Sannyas.134.
ਬੇਅੰਤ ਲੋਗ ਸੰਨਿਆਸ ਯੋਗ ਕਰਨ ਲਗ ਗਏ ਹਨ ॥੧੩੪॥
