RASAAVAL STANZA
ਰਸਾਵਲ ਛੰਦ:
ਚੜਿਓ ਚੀਨ ਰਾਜੰ ॥
ਚੀਨ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਆਇਆ ਹੈ।
ਸਜੇ ਸਰਬ ਸਾਜੰ ॥
The king of China attacked, he was ready in every way
(ਉਸ ਨੇ) ਸਭ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਜ ਸਜਾਏ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ।
ਖੁਲੇ ਖੇਤਿ ਖੂਨੀ ॥
ਖ਼ੂਨਖ਼ਾਰ ਯੋਧੇ ਯੁੱਧ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚ ਖੁਲ੍ਹੇ ਵਿਚਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
ਚੜੇ ਚੌਪ ਦੂਨੀ ॥੫੩੫॥
The bloody daggers came out of scabbards with double zeal.535.
(ਚਿੱਤ ਵਿਚ) ਦੁਗਣਾ ਚਾਉ ਚੜ੍ਹਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ॥੫੩੫॥
ਜੁਟੇ ਜੋਧ ਜੋਧੰ ॥
ਯੋਧੇ ਯੁੱਧ ਵਿਚ ਜੁਟੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ।
ਤਜੈ ਬਾਣ ਕ੍ਰੋਧੰ ॥
The warriors, getting enraged, discharged arrows and
ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਨਾਲ ਬਾਣ ਛਡ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
ਤੁਟੈ ਅੰਗ ਭੰਗੰ ॥
ਅੰਗ ਭੰਗ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਟੁਟ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
ਭ੍ਰਮੇ ਰੰਗ ਜੰਗੰ ॥੫੩੬॥
Roamed in the battlefield, destroying the limbs of others.536.
(ਫਿਰ ਵੀ) ਯੁੱਧ ਵਿਚ ਘੁੰਮ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ॥੫੩੬॥
ਨਚੇ ਈਸ ਭੀਸੰ ॥
ਸ਼ਿਵ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਨਾਚ ਨਚ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
ਪੁਐ ਮਾਲ ਸੀਸੰ ॥
Shiva also joined the armies and danced and discharged arrows in a queer way.537.
ਸਿਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਾਲਾ ਪਰੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
ਕਰੈ ਚਿਤ੍ਰ ਚਾਰੰ ॥
(ਸੈਨਾ ਨਾਇਕ) ਵਿਚਿਤ੍ਰ ਕੌਤਕ ਵਿਖਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
ਤਜੈ ਬਾਣ ਧਾਰੰ ॥੫੩੭॥
ਬਾਣਾਂ ਦੀ ਝੜੀ ਲਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ॥੫੩੭॥
ਮੰਡੇ ਜੋਧ ਜੋਧੰ ॥
ਯੋਧੇ ਯੁੱਧ-ਕਰਮ ਵਿਚ ਮਗਨ ਹਨ।
ਤਜੇ ਬਾਣ ਕ੍ਰੋਧੰ ॥
The warriors in their fury discharged arrows in the battlefield
ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਨਾਲ ਬਾਣ ਛਡਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਨਦੀ ਸ੍ਰੋਣ ਪੂਰੰ ॥
ਲਹੂ ਦੀ ਨਦੀ ਭਰ ਗਈ ਹੈ।
ਫਿਰੀ ਗੈਣ ਹੂਰੰ ॥੫੩੮॥
The streams of blood were full and the heavenly damsels moved in the sky.538.
ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਵਿਚ ਹੂਰਾਂ ਫਿਰ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ ॥੫੩੮॥
ਹਸੈ ਮੁੰਡ ਮਾਲਾ ॥
ਮੁੰਡਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਾਲਾ ਵਾਲਾ (ਸ਼ਿਵ ਰੁਦ੍ਰ) ਹਸ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
ਤਜੈ ਜੋਗ ਜ੍ਵਾਲਾ ॥
The goddess kali laughed and produced fire of Yoga
(ਮੂੰਹ ਤੋਂ) ਯੋਗ-ਅਗਨੀ ਛਡ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
ਤਜੈ ਬਾਣ ਜ੍ਵਾਣੰ ॥
ਸੂਰਮੇ ਬਾਣ ਛਡ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ,
ਗ੍ਰਸੈ ਦੁਸਟ ਪ੍ਰਾਣੰ ॥੫੩੯॥
The tyrants were killed with the arrows of the soldiers.539.
ਜੋ ਦੁਸ਼ਟਾਂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਸ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੫੩੯॥
ਗਿਰੇ ਘੁੰਮਿ ਭੂਮੀ ॥
ਘੁੰਮੇਰੀ ਖਾ ਕੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਉਤੇ ਡਿਗਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਉਠੀ ਧੂਰ ਧੂੰਮੀ ॥
The warriors are swinging and falling on the ground and the dust is rising from the earth
ਧਰਤੀ ਉਤੋਂ ਧੂੜ ਉਠਦੀ ਹੈ।
ਸੁਭੇ ਰੇਤ ਖੇਤੰ ॥
ਰਣ-ਭੂਮੀ ਦੀ ਰੇਤ ਸ਼ੁਭ ਰੰਗ (ਭਾਵ ਲਹੂ ਰੰਗੀ) ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ।
ਨਚੇ ਭੂਤ ਪ੍ਰੇਤੰ ॥੫੪੦॥
The fighters have gathered zealously in the battlefield and the ghosts and fiends are dancing.540.
ਭੂਤ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਤ ਨਚ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ॥੫੪੦॥
ਮਿਲਿਓ ਚੀਨ ਰਾਜਾ ॥
ਚੀਨ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਾ (ਯੁੱਧ ਤਿਆਗ ਕੇ ਕਲਕੀ ਨੂੰ ਆ ਕੇ) ਮਿਲ ਪਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਭਏ ਸਰਬ ਕਾਜਾ ॥
The king of China met his men, whose objectives were fulfilled
(ਉਸ ਦੇ) ਸਾਰੇ ਕਾਰਜ ਪੂਰੇ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹਨ।
ਲਇਓ ਸੰਗ ਕੈ ਕੈ ॥
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਾਲ ਲੈ ਕੇ (ਕਲਕੀ ਸਭ ਦੇ)
ਚਲਿਓ ਅਗ੍ਰ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਕੈ ॥੫੪੧॥
He took many with himself and advanced forward.541.
