ਦੋਹਰਾ ॥

ਦੋਹਰਾ:
ਬਿਮਨ ਚੰਚਲਾ ਚਿਤ ਲਖੀ ਮੀਤ ਕਹਿਯੋ ਮੁਸਕਾਇ ॥
As she seemed very much perturbed, her lover asked smilingly,
ਮਿਤਰ ਨੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਇਸਤਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਬੇਮਨਾ ਵੇਖਿਆ, ਤਾਂ ਹੱਸ ਕੇ ਕਿਹਾ
ਤੈ ਚਿਤ ਕ︀ਯੋ ਬ੍ਰਯਾਕੁਲਿ ਭਈ ਮੁਹਿ ਕਹਿ ਭੇਦ ਸੁਨਾਇ ॥੩੪॥
‘Why are you getting agitated, tell me the reason?(34)
ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਚਿਤ ਵਿਚ ਕਿਉਂ ਵਿਆਕੁਲ ਹੈਂ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਭੇਦ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਦਸ ॥੩੪॥
