BISHANPADA DHANASSARI

ਬਿਸਨਪਦ ਧਨਾਸਰੀ:

ਸੁਨਿ ਪਾਈ ਬ੍ਰਿਜਬਾਲਾ ਮੋਹਨ ਆਏ ਹੈ ਕੁਰੁਖੇਤਿ ॥

The damsels of Braja heard that Krishna had come to Kurukshetra he is the same Krishna

ਬ੍ਰਜ ਦੀਆਂ ਬਾਲੜੀਆਂ (ਮੁਟਿਆਰਾਂ) ਨੇ (ਇਹ ਗੱਲ) ਸੁਣ ਲਈ ਕਿ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਕੁਰੁਕਸ਼ੇਤ੍ਰ ਆਏ ਹਨ।

ਦਰਸਨ ਦੇਖਿ ਸਭੈ ਦੁਖ ਬਿਸਰੇ ਬੇਦ ਕਹਤ ਜਿਹ ਨੇਤਿ ॥

, Seeing whom all the afflictions come to an end

ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਦ ਨੇ 'ਨੇਤਿ ਨੇਤਿ' ਕਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੁਖ ਭੁਲ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ।

ਤਨ ਮਨ ਅਟਕਿਓ ਚਰਨ ਕਵਲ ਸੋ ਧਨ ਨਿਵਛਾਵਰਿ ਦੇਤ ॥

And who is called eternal (nitya) by the Vedas, our mind and body is absorbed in his lotus-feet and our wealth is a sac

ਉਸ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਕਮਲਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਤਨ ਅਤੇ ਮਨ ਅਟਕ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਉਤੋਂ ਧਨ ਨਿਛਾਵਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।

ਕ੍ਰਿਸਨ ਇਕਾਤਿ ਕੀਯੋ ਤਿਹ ਹੀ ਛਿਨ ਕਹਿਯੋ ਗਿਆਨ ਸਿਖਿ ਲੇਹੁ ॥

Then Krishna called all of them in seclusion and asking them to engross themselves in the instructions of Knowledge,

(ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ) ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਇਕਲਿਆਂ ਕਰ ਕੇ, ਉਸੇ ਵੇਲੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਗਿਆਨ ਸਿਖ ਲਵੋ।
