ਮਛਿੰਦ੍ਰ ਬਾਚ ਪਾਰਸਨਾਥ ਸੋ ॥
Speech of Matsyendra addressed to Parasnath :
ਮਛਿੰਦ੍ਰ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, ਪਾਰਸ ਨਾਥ ਨੂੰ।
ਤੋਮਰ ਛੰਦ ॥
TOMAR STANZA
ਤੋਮਰ ਛੰਦ:
ਸੁਨ ਰਾਜ ਰਾਜਨ ਹੰਸ ॥
ਹੇ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਰਾਜਾ ਹੰਸ! ਸੁਣੋ,
ਭਵ ਭੂਮਿ ਕੇ ਅਵਤੰਸ ॥
“O Sovereign! you are the greatest on the earth
(ਤੁਸੀਂ) ਸੰਸਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਸੂਰਜ ਹੋ।
ਤੁਹਿ ਜੀਤਏ ਸਬ ਰਾਇ ॥
ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਜਿਤ ਲਏ ਹਨ,
ਪਰ ਸੋ ਨ ਜੀਤਯੋ ਜਾਇ ॥੧੬੪॥
You have conquered all the kings, but whatever I am telling you, you have not conquered it.”164.
ਪਰ ਉਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਿਤਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ॥੧੬੪॥
ਅਬਿਬੇਕ ਹੈ ਤਿਹ ਨਾਉ ॥
ਉਸ ਦਾ ਨਾਂ 'ਅਬਿਬੇਕ' ਹੈ।
ਤਵ ਹੀਯ ਮੈ ਤਿਹ ਠਾਉ ॥
“Its name is Avivek (ignorance) and it abides in your heart
ਤੇਰੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਠਿਕਾਣਾ ਹੈ।
ਤਿਹ ਜੀਤ ਕਹੀ ਨ ਭੂਪ ॥
ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਿਤਿਆ।
ਵਹ ਹੈ ਸਰੂਪ ਅਨੂਪ ॥੧੬੫॥
Regarding its victory, O king! you have not said anything, that also has a unique form.”165.
ਉਹ ਅਨੂਪਮ ਸਰੂਪ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ ॥੧੬੫॥
