ਦੋਹਰਾ:
ਭਸਮਾਗਦ ਦਾਨੋ ਬਡੋ ਭੀਮ ਪੁਰੀ ਕੇ ਮਾਹਿ ॥
In the city ofBhim Puree, a devil named Bhasmangad used to live,
ਭੀਮਪਰੀ ਵਿਚ ਭਸਮਾਂਗਦ ਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਵੱਡਾ ਦੈਂਤ (ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਸੀ)।
ਤਾਹਿ ਬਰਾਬਰਿ ਭਾਸਕਰਿ ਜੁਧ ਸਮੈ ਮੋ ਨਾਹਿ ॥੧॥
In fighting, there was none comparable to him.(1)
ਯੁੱਧ ਵਿਚ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਬਰਾਬਰ ਸੂਰਜ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ॥੧॥
