ਚੌਪਈ:
ਬਿਕ੍ਰਮ ਸੈਨਿ ਤਹਾ ਚਲਿ ਆਯੋ ॥
ਰਾਜਾ ਬਿਕ੍ਰਮਾਜੀਤ ਉਥੇ ਚਲ ਕੇ ਆਇਆ।
ਆਨ ਗੌਰਜਾ ਕੌ ਸਿਰ ਨ︀ਯਾਯੋ ॥
Bikrim came there in the evening and paid his obeisance to the goddess Gory,
ਆ ਕੇ ਗੌਰਜਾ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਰ ਨਿਵਾਇਆ।
ਬਾਚਿ ਦੋਹਰਾ ਕੋ ਚਕਿ ਰਹਿਯੋ ॥
ਉਹ ਦੋਹਰਾ ਪੜ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ
ਕੋ ਬਿਰਹੀ ਆਯੋ ਹ︀ਯਾਂ ਕਹਿਯੋ ॥੩੭॥
He read the couplet and inquired if there had come some love-sick person.(37)
ਅਤੇ ਕਹਿਣ ਲਗਾ ਕੀ ਕੋਈ ਵਿਯੋਗੀ ਇਥੇ ਆਇਆ ਹੈ ॥੩੭॥
