ਅਥ ਮਿਥਲਾਪੁਰ ਰਾਜੇ ਅਰੁ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਨ ਕਾ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਗੁ ਅਰੁ ਭਸਮਾਗਦ ਦੈਤ ਕੋ ਛਲ ਕੇ ਮਾਰ ਰੁਦ੍ਰ ਕੌ ਛਡਾਵਤ ਭਏ ॥

ਮਿਥਲਾ ਦੇਸ ਦਾ ਇਕ ਰਾਜਾ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਨਾਂ 'ਅਤਿਹੁਲਾਸ' ਸੀ।

ਮਤ ਕੇ ਦਿਜ ਇਕ ਥੋ ਤਹਾ ਬਿਨੁ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮ ਨ ਲੇਇ ॥
