ਦੋਹਰਾ:
ਸਤੂਅਨ ਕਰੀ ਬਨਾਇ ਕੈ ਤਾ ਮੈ ਬਧ︀ਯੋ ਬਨਾਇ ॥
After making the curry of barley she placed in it a statue carved out flour dough.
ਸਤੂ ਦਾ ਹਾਥੀ ਬਣਾ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਵਿਚ ਬੰਨ੍ਹ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
ਸਤੂਆ ਹੀ ਸੋ ਜਾਨਿਯੈ ਕਰੀ ਨ ਚੀਨ︀ਯੋ ਜਾਇ ॥੪॥
It looked like barley-meal and could not be taken as curry.( 4)
ਉਹ ਸਤੂ ਹੀ ਲਗਦਾ ਸੀ, ਹਾਥੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ਲਗਦਾ ॥੪॥
