ਮਾਧੋ ਛੰਦ ॥
MADHO STANZA
ਮਾਧੋ ਛੰਦ:
ਜਬ ਕੋਪਾ ਕਲਕੀ ਅਵਤਾਰਾ ॥
ਜਦ ਕਲਕੀ ਅਵਤਾਰ ਨੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਕੀਤਾ,
ਬਾਜਤ ਤੂਰ ਹੋਤ ਝਨਕਾਰਾ ॥
When Lord Kalki became infuriated, then the war-horns sounded, and there was jingling sound
ਵਾਜੇ ਵਜਣ ਲਗੇ ਅਤੇ (ਹਥਿਆਰਾਂ ਦੀ) ਝਨਕਾਰ ਹੋਣ ਲਗੀ।
ਹਾ ਹਾ ਮਾਧੋ ਬਾਨ ਕਮਾਨ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨ ਸੰਭਾਰੇ ॥
ਹਾਂ ਮਾਧੋ! ਸੂਰਮੇ ਬਾਣ, ਕਮਾਨ, ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਕੇ
ਪੈਠੇ ਸੁਭਟ ਹਥ︀ਯਾਰ ਉਘਾਰੇ ॥੫੪੬॥
The Lord held up his bow and arrow and the sword and taking out his weapons, he penetrated amongst the warriors.546.
ਅਤੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਸ਼ਸਤ੍ਰ ਚੁਕ ਕੇ (ਯੁੱਧ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚ) ਧਸ ਗਏ ਹਨ ॥੫੪੬॥
ਲੀਨ ਮਚੀਨ ਦੇਸ ਕਾ ਰਾਜਾ ॥
ਚੀਨ ਮਚੀਨ ਦੇਸ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੂੰ (ਪਕੜ) ਲਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਤਾ ਦਿਨ ਬਜੇ ਜੁਝਾਊ ਬਾਜਾ ॥
When the king of Manchuria was conquered, on that day, the war-drums sounded
ਉਸ ਦਿਨ ਮਾਰੂ ਵਾਜੇ ਵਜਣ ਲਗੇ ਹਨ।
ਹਾ ਹਾ ਮਾਧੋ ਦੇਸ ਦੇਸ ਕੇ ਛਤ੍ਰ ਛਿਨਾਏ ॥
ਹਾਂ ਮਾਧੋ! ਦੇਸਾਂ ਦੇਸਾਂ (ਦੇ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਿਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ) ਛਤ੍ਰ ਉਤਾਰ ਲਏ ਗਏ ਹਨ
ਦੇਸ ਬਿਦੇਸ ਤੁਰੰਗ ਫਿਰਾਏ ॥੫੪੭॥
The Lord, causing loud lamentation, snatched away the canopies of various countries and got his horse moved in all the countries.547.
ਅਤੇ ਦੇਸਾਂ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਵਿਚ (ਕਲਕੀ ਅਵਤਾਰ ਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ) ਘੋੜਾ ਫਿਰਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ॥੫੪੭॥
ਚੀਨ ਮਚੀਨ ਛੀਨ ਜਬ ਲੀਨਾ ॥
ਜਦ ਚੀਨ ਅਤੇ ਮਚੀਨ ਨੂੰ ਖੋਹ ਲਿਆ,
ਉਤਰ ਦੇਸ ਪਯਾਨਾ ਕੀਨਾ ॥
When China and Manchuria were conquered, then Lord kalki advanced further in the North
(ਤਦ) ਉੱਤਰ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ ਵਲ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ।
ਹਾ ਹਾ ਮਾਧੋ ਕਹ ਲੌ ਗਨੋ ਉਤਰੀ ਰਾਜਾ ॥
ਹਾਂ ਮਾਧੋ! ਉੱਤਰ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ ਦੇ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਥੋਂ ਤਕ ਵਰਣਨ ਕਰਾਂ।
ਸਭ ਸਿਰਿ ਡੰਕ ਜੀਤ ਕਾ ਬਾਜਾ ॥੫੪੮॥
O my Lord! to what extent I should enumerate the kings of the North, the drum of victory sounded on the heads of all.548.
ਸਭ ਦੇ ਸਿਰ ਉਤੇ ਜਿਤ ਦਾ ਧੌਂਸਾ ਵਜ ਗਿਆ ॥੫੪੮॥
ਇਹ ਬਿਧਿ ਜੀਤਿ ਜੀਤ ਕੈ ਰਾਜਾ ॥
ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਤ ਜਿਤ ਕੇ
ਸਭ ਸਿਰਿ ਨਾਦ ਬਿਜੈ ਕਾ ਬਾਜਾ ॥
In this way, conquering various kings, the musical instruments of victory was played
ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਿਰ ਉਤੇ ਜਿਤ ਦਾ ਨਾਦ ਵਜਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।
ਹਾ ਹਾ ਮਾਧੋ ਜਹ ਤਹ ਛਾਡਿ ਦੇਸ ਭਜਿ ਚਲੇ ॥
ਹਾਂ ਮਾਧੋ! ਜਿਥੇ ਕਿਥੇ (ਲੋਕੀਂ) ਦੇਸ ਛਡ ਕੇ ਭਜ ਚਲੇ ਹਨ।
ਜਿਤ ਤਿਤ ਦੀਹ ਦਨੁਜ ਦਲ ਮਲੇ ॥੫੪੯॥
O my Lord! they all left their countries and went here and there and the Lord Kalki destroyed the tyrants everywhere.549.
ਜਿਥੇ ਕਿਥੇ ਵਡਾਕਾਰੀ ਦੈਂਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਲਮਲ ਸੁਟਿਆ ਹੈ ॥੫੪੯॥
ਕੀਨੇ ਜਗ ਅਨੇਕ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰਾ ॥
ਦੇਸ ਦੇਸ ਦੇ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਤ ਕੇ ਅਨੇਕ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਯੱਗ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ।
ਦੇਸਿ ਦੇਸ ਕੇ ਜੀਤਿ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਾਰਾ ॥
Many types of yajnas were performed, the kings of many counties were conquered
ਹਾਂ ਮਾਧੋ! ਦੇਸ ਵਿਦੇਸ ਤੋਂ (ਲੋਕੀਂ) ਨਜ਼ਰਾਨੇ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਏ ਹਨ।
ਹਾ ਹਾ ਮਾਧੋ ਦੇਸ ਬਿਦੇਸ ਭੇਟ ਲੈ ਆਏ ॥
(ਕਲਕੀ ਅਵਤਾਰ ਨੇ) ਸੰਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਬਾਰਿਆ ਹੈ
ਸੰਤ ਉਬਾਰਿ ਅਸੰਤ ਖਪਾਏ ॥੫੫੦॥
O Lord! the kings came from various countries came with their offerings and you redeemed the saints and destroyed the evil ones.550.
ਅਤੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਟਾਂ ('ਅਸੰਤ') ਨੂੰ ਖਪਾਇਆ ਹੈ ॥੫੫੦॥
ਜਹ ਤਹ ਚਲੀ ਧਰਮ ਕੀ ਬਾਤਾ ॥
ਜਿਥੇ ਕਿਥੇ ਧਰਮ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਚਲ ਪਈ ਹੈ।
ਪਾਪਹਿ ਜਾਤ ਭਈ ਸੁਧਿ ਸਾਤਾ ॥
Religious discussions were held everywhere and the sinful acts were totally finished
ਪਾਪਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਤੇ ਸੁੱਧਾਂ ਭੁਲ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ।
ਹਾ ਹਾ ਮਾਧੋ ਕਲਿ ਅਵਤਾਰ ਜੀਤ ਘਰ ਆਏ ॥
ਹਾਂ ਮਾਧੋ! ਕਲਕੀ ਅਵਤਾਰ ਜਿਤ ਕੇ ਘਰ (ਆਪਣੇ ਦੇਸ਼) ਵਿਚ ਆਏ ਹਨ।
ਜਹ ਤਹ ਹੋਵਨ ਲਾਗ ਬਧਾਏ ॥੫੫੧॥
O Lord! The Kalki incarnation came home after his conquests and the songs of felicitation were sung everywhere.551.
ਜਿਥੇ ਕਿਥੇ ਵਧਾਈ ਦੇ ਵਾਜੇ ਵਜਣ ਲਗੇ ਹਨ ॥੫੫੧॥
ਤਬ ਲੋ ਕਲਿਜੁਗਾਤ ਨੀਯਰਾਯੋ ॥
ਤਦ ਤਕ ਕਲਿਯੁਗ ਦਾ ਅੰਤ ਨੇੜੇ ਆ ਗਿਆ।
ਜਹ ਤਹ ਭੇਦ ਸਬਨ ਸੁਨਿ ਪਾਯੋ ॥
Then the end of the Iron Age came very near and all came to know about this mystery
(ਇਹ) ਭੇਦ ਜਿਥੇ ਕਿਥੇ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਸੁਣ ਲਿਆ।
ਹਾ ਹਾ ਮਾਧੋ ਕਲਕੀ ਬਾਤ ਤਬੈ ਪਹਚਾਨੀ ॥
ਹਾਂ ਮਾਧੋ! ਤਦ ਕਲਕੀ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ (ਸਭ ਨੇ) ਪਛਾਣ ਲਈ
ਸਤਿਜੁਗ ਕੀ ਆਗਮਤਾ ਜਾਨੀ ॥੫੫੨॥
The Kalki incarnation comprehended this mystery and felt that Satyuga was about to begin.552.
ਅਤੇ ਸਤਿਯੁਗ ਦੇ ਆਗਮਨ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣ ਲਿਆ ॥੫੫੨॥
